ELEVATE! Early Learning Program Overview
Our goals are to provide holistic, intentional, and high-quality care to children, exposing them to enrichment activities that lead to school success, positive adjustment in life. We find the gifts in every child, stretch and nourish those gifts, and then continue to support them on the trajectory to excellence.
Due to the increasing number of working parents who have young children, the need for a “home away from home,” non-institutional setting for their children has become very necessary and widespread. Our goals are to provide an environment where children will enjoy and assist the child(ren) in attaining his/her highest possible potential. At the ELEVATE Early Learning Center, children build the necessary academic and social skills to show up for kindergarten, ready to excel! At ELEVATE Early Learning Center, your child will:
At ELEVATE! Early Learning Centers, your child will:

- Build confidence and leadership skills
- Grow in a safe space where they can learn, socialize and play with peers
- Receive balanced, nutritious meals
- Learn appropriate words and actions to express their feelings and emotions, and get their needs met
- Experience love and treatment that makes them feel like a member of the family, rather than someone else’s child, or a billable service
- Learn in a space where they are emotionally safe. Staff and children exhibit good manners, politeness, and respect both for authority and for other children
- Become ready for kindergarten through intentional academic and social-emotional learning. Early stimulation sets the stage for successful growth and development. - Participate in activities that are visually and intellectually stimulating through the use of décor, educational materials, technology, and engaging instructors.
- Benefit from support for parent and guardian, including education on child development and connections to community resources and services.
- Staff people who are dedicated to providing holistic care that contributes to healthy child development for all children.
ELEVATE! Early Learning Center Basic Services
ELEVATE Early Learning Center offers a comprehensive childcare and educational preschool program. It is designed to meet the needs of children between the ages of 2.5 years old to school age of all races and religions. Each child shall be involved in a program of play and learning activities, which are age/skill appropriate. A balance of active and quiet play is provided for, with individual and group activities that are geared toward the social, emotional, physical, and individual growth of young children.
ELEVATE Early Learning Center conducts formal self-assessment that address the quality of the environment and staff/child interactions that are developmentally appropriate to age groups served. The lead teacher in each group identifies at least one in an area for improvement and creates an action plan which includes a goal and at least one action step based on the results of the annual classroom self-assessment. We use ASQ-3/ASQ-SE (screenings) and Teaching Strategies Gold (assessment) to assess all children enrolled (except school-age children). Results are shared with the families and not reported to Ohio Department of Children and Youth.

- Social Development – is enhanced in an educational childcare setting as it encourages independence and a new kind of social experience. The social experience teaches a child what can be expected of him/her. Also, children in controlled settings learn from each other.
- Emotional Development – In some professional, educational environment children gain more self-confidence and generally are quite proud of their lives. It is therefore likely that children with this experience will enter public school without trauma. Also, learning to cope with feelings and frustrations in a neutral environment is an important part of emotional growth.
- Educational Development – Occurs best in a day care educational setting as staff offers and suggests activities, not force or insists on them. If a child is not ready for one activity, an alternative is offered. One at which the child can succeed.
ELEVATE! Program Results
Learning takes place with success. “Individualizing” a program means starting where each child is and taking them as far as they can go.
- Physical Achievements – Are essential for intellectual development, increasing self-confidence and for physical coordination.
- Play the “business”of children – It is ELEVATE Early Learning Center belief that in a good educational day care the development of skills and competencies is promoted partially through play. Play is essentially creative and is necessary for healthy development in preparing children with adult life. The playing child is occupied in learning to deal with the world around him/her. Out of what appears to be random activity comes with pattern and meaning.
To encourage personal and social skills, ELEVATE Early Learning Center teaches primarily self-help and encourages the child to interact with other children. We will teach the child(ren) to play with other children, to play with toys appropriately and to develop self-help in dressing, eating and cognitive skills.
Physical fitness is also a concern of ours. To develop large muscles, gross motor activities including jumping, climbing, and sitting, rolling, balancing, kneeling, crawling, walking, hopping, skipping, throwing and exercising. We develop small muscles (fine motor) through eye and hand coordination and manipulative skills (i.e. scribbling, writing, buttoning, zipping, snapping, typing, cutting and sensory awareness).
